Who needs toys?

I was having dinner with some of my girlfriends last week, the group that all had babies this year, you have seen their babies on this very blog. Anyway we were commenting on the funny things that entertain kids, and how they are usually not the expensive toys that we buy them. For Zane it was one of their old keyboards. So I told them that Keeton's favorite toy is Austin. Austin will pull his binkie out of his mouth so he can make him laugh.

Little Peanut

We affectionately call Keeton our little peanut, and Austin only calls him that or baby. So last week my Aunt called my mom for some info about our family to update a family record, and she needed, "Peanut"s real name. Our family has had a little laugh about it since then.

Nap time

I usually rock Keeton to sleep in the middle of the day for his nap, and then when he is asleep I will go and lay down with Austin. Well on this day, Austin was too tired to wait for me, so he improvised and fell asleep on Keeton's boppy at the foot of the rocking chair.

Mommy's new toy in use

This was last week when the weather was a little nicer. Believe it or not, they both love to go on walks. Although this picture doesn't reflect it. Yesterday I took the boys on a walk to my Dads for a BBQUE and it was a little brisk out. So I bundled them up in jackets, hats and blankets. When we got to the house, I had everyone come outside to look at the cutest boys in the whole world. You would have thought I had yelled, FIRE! Because everyone jumped up from the dinner table and ran to the back door to look. They are so loved!

Keeton's Teeth

Keeton is 5 months old now, he will be 6 months on the 23rd; and last week while his Mommy was at work he cut his first tooth! A few days later he cut another one, both on the bottom in the middle. He wasn't even fussy, it just appeared one day. What a good baby!

Dishwasher

Who needs T.V. or toys, Austin just wants to play in the sink when he is at Grandma's. What a good little helper.

Austin's Mohawk

Austin's silly Mommy had a little too much fun with the gel!

Keeton's Smiles

Keeton is such a happy kiddo, I just love his smiles! His Grandma Tammy loves making him smile also. Keeton and Austin are so lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents that live close to them.
